The Sudbury Manitoulin Children's Foundation (SMCF) has one of the largest geographic areas in the province. This jurisdiction of Sudbury and Manitoulin is almost 50,000 sq. km - with a population of 200,000+ of which 50,000+ of them are children.

Together with our network of 21 local chapters, KidSport Ontario provides grants to help cover the costs of enrolment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Ontario can play a season of sport.

 

To apply for a KidSport Ontario grant or learn more about the program details, start by finding your closest chapter. If your community doesn’t yet have a local chapter, your grant will come through the Provincial Fund.

Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play is essential for their growth and development, which is why Jumpstart funds a variety of different sports and activities all with the goal of giving all kids the chance to discover their passion.
