Important Information About OVA Competition

There is NO guarantee that an OVA team will be formed from the Chill Academy.

The Chill Academy is a Regional competitive development program. The primary commitment is to the 10-week Academy program, including training, skill development, gameplay and local competition as outlined above.

The Club may consider forming an OVA team from Academy athletes; however, families should not register for Chill Academy with the expectation that an OVA team will be created. There is currently no commitment from the Club to field an OVA team from the Academy.

If an OVA team is considered, it will depend on several factors, including:

• Availability of a qualified coach

• Availability of gym time and other required resources

• Athlete numbers and appropriate team composition

• OVA registration requirements and timelines

• Overall Club capacity and programming needs

• Club discretion
   

An OVA team will only be formed if the Club determines that it is appropriate, feasible and in the best interest of the overall program.

By registering for Chill Academy, families are acknowledging that participation in the Academy does not guarantee an OVA team, an OVA roster position, or OVA competition.
